Upcoming Emmaus Walks
Several members from our church will be attending or working the upcoming Emmaus walks in February—both the Men's Walk and Women's Walk. Please join us in prayer for the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in that camp and for all participants to be blessed in ways beyond their expectations. May both weekends show God's Glory!
Join Our Emmaus Community
Interested in learning more about Emmaus or looking to connect on your 4th Day journey? Join us for our next gathering, featuring a potluck dinner, fellowship, worship, and communion. All are invited—you do not need to have attended an Emmaus Walk to participate in any gathering. Contact Suanne Wilson for additional information about upcoming events and how to get involved.
What is Emmaus?
A servant to all
The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program designed to strengthen your church through the development of Christian Leaders.
The program encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant to all."
The 72-hour Walk to Emmaus experience focuses on the themes of God's Grace, Christian Discipleship, and what it means to be The Church.
When you complete your Emmaus Walk, you will have your eyes opened, and your heart will burn with a renewed Spiritual fire for service to Our Lord, just as the two original pilgrims did on the Road to Emmaus found in Luke 24.
REMEMBER:
Emmaus is non-denominational.
Its purpose is to develop leaders for your church.
It provided support for those in need within and outside the Emmaus Community.
Our tools are Prayer, Music, Fellowship, and Accountability.
Our Emmaus Community holds Gatherings several times a year to fellowship, eat, visit, and worship. These are family events, and all are invited to this covered dish meal. Bring your specialty and join the fun. Praise Music, a Guest Speaker, and Communion round out the event.
Stay connected by joining a Reunion Group. These groups meet at Livingston FMC.

Dear 4th Day
Recall your Emmaus experience
Sit for just a minute, breathe deeply, exhale, and recall your Emmaus experience.
What blessed you the most? What changed your heart? How has your walk with Christ improved your relationship, challenged you, drew you closer to Him? What did those 72 hours mean to you? Now, what are you going to do about it?
Who is God placing on your heart to share the Emmaus experience? They deserve to go on their WALK to EMMAUS! Applications are on the table in the Gathering area. Bless someone as you were blessed.
